*     We stop in Torquay to hear about the history of Surfing in Victoria and Australia and how two locals initiated and established the world renown company Ripcurl and also Quicksilver.

*     The Memorial Arch

A Government initiative to commemorate the service men who went away to the 1914 - 1918 World War One. How when they returned home up to 3,000 of them helped build this road literally by hand over a  13 year period.

*      The scenic Great Ocean Road

A  truly scenic road to travel with its length travelling in parts beside both the Pacific and the Indian Oceans. Take the opportunity on 4 or 5 occasions to enjoy and photograph the amazing coastal scenery and photos that include you and your group.

*     Koala's in the Wild

We call into Kennett River hoping to find a Koala or two in our Eucalypt trees close to the carpark. Be aware that they are not always " in residence" as they are wild animals and move about in this area.

*     Lunch at the pristine Seaside town of Apollo Bay for 50 mins. as we take a short break in our day of travel.

*     Travel through giant "Old growth Rain Forests"

Our trip through this region of Victoria lets us see our forests that include our massive Mountain Ash Eucalypt or Gum trees as they are locally known as.

These trees can grow over 100 metres tall and many are between 100 and 200 years old.

*     Kangaroo's in the Wild

We call into a local Sports Ground and Camping area which is surrounded by open fields and here we will find around 100 wild Kangaroos in residence just over the fence. Again, these are wild animals that live in this area and n umbers vary from day to day as they move around.

*     View the Apostles area.

Here we are able to visit :

     *    Gibsons Steps.

Steps carved into the Cliff face by early First Nation people to gain access to the beach for pleasure and fishing. Lean how a local farmer that became involved in the Loch Ard disaster had the steps named after him.

     *    12 Apostles.

Here we can view from the viewing platform the remaining Apostles and their immediate surroundings.

*     Loch Ard Gorge
